Information We Collect

When you sign up for our programs, we collect your name, email address, and payment information. If you're applying for a mentor position, we also collect your portfolio links and work history.

We use cookies to track website usage and improve your experience. This includes things like remembering your login status and understanding which pages people visit most often.

Student Project Data

If you're enrolled in one of our programs, we store the game projects you submit for feedback. This includes any files, documents, or prototypes you share with mentors.

Your work remains yours. We don't claim any ownership over projects you create during our programs, though we might ask permission to feature them as examples in marketing materials.

How We Use Your Information

We use your contact information to communicate about your enrollment, send course materials, and provide support. Pretty straightforward stuff.

Payment information goes through Stripe, so we don't actually store your credit card details on our servers. They handle all that securely on their end.

Marketing Communications

If you sign up for our mailing list, we'll send occasional updates about new programs and industry insights. You can unsubscribe anytime - there's a link at the bottom of every email.

We don't sell or share your email address with third parties. That's annoying when other companies do it, so we don't.

Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored on secure servers in the EU. We use encryption for sensitive data and restrict access to only the team members who actually need it.

Student project files are kept on cloud storage with access limited to you and your assigned mentor. After you complete a program, we retain your data for one year unless you request deletion sooner.

Video Call Recordings

Sometimes we record mentorship sessions for quality assurance or if a student wants to review the conversation later. We always ask permission before recording and you can decline.

Recordings are stored securely and automatically deleted after 90 days unless you've specifically requested to keep them longer.

Third-Party Services

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use our website. This collects anonymous data about page visits, time spent on site, that sort of thing.

Discord handles our student community discussions. Their privacy policy applies to anything you share in those channels.

Payment Processing

Stripe processes all payments. When you enter payment information, it goes directly to them through a secure connection. We only see whether the payment succeeded or failed.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of all data we have about you. Just email gamediz@playfusex.com and we'll send it within 30 days.

You can also request that we delete your information entirely. We'll comply within 30 days, though we might need to keep some records for legal or accounting purposes.

Accessing Your Data

Current students can view and download their submitted projects through the student portal. If you need help accessing something, contact your mentor or our support team.

Children's Privacy

Our programs are designed for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you're a parent and believe your child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

International Data Transfers

Since we work with students worldwide, your data might be accessed from different countries. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place regardless of where you're located.

GDPR Compliance

For EU residents, we comply with GDPR requirements. This means you have additional rights around data portability, the right to be forgotten, and the right to object to certain processing activities.

Changes to This Policy

We update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we'll email active students and post a notice on the website.

The "last updated" date at the top shows when the current version took effect.
