Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 29, 2025

These terms govern your use of Playfusex services. By enrolling in our programs or using our website, you agree to these terms.

Service Description

Playfusex provides game design education through online courses, mentorship sessions, and community access. Programs vary in length, content, and price depending on what you sign up for.

We make reasonable efforts to deliver quality education, but results depend largely on your effort and aptitude. We can't guarantee you'll land a specific job or achieve particular outcomes.

Program Access

Once enrolled, you get access to course materials and scheduled mentorship for the program duration. Most programs run for three to six months, with specific dates provided at signup.

Access to materials expires when your program ends unless you've purchased lifetime access. We'll remind you before expiration in case you want to extend.

Payment Terms

Program fees are listed on our website and must be paid before you gain access. We accept major credit cards through Stripe.

Monthly payment plans are available for some programs. If you miss a payment, your access gets suspended until you catch up or we work out an alternative arrangement.

Refund Policy

You can request a full refund within 14 days of enrollment if you haven't attended any mentorship sessions. After that, refunds are prorated based on how much of the program you've completed.

If we cancel a program or can't provide the services you paid for, you'll get a full refund regardless of how far into the program you are.

Student Responsibilities

You're expected to show up for scheduled mentorship sessions or reschedule with reasonable notice. Repeatedly missing sessions without warning might result in removal from the program.

The community Discord should remain professional. We're all adults, but basic courtesy matters. Harassment, spam, or generally being a jerk will get you removed without refund.

Academic Honesty

Your submitted projects should be your own work. Getting help from mentors or other students is fine - that's the point. But copying someone else's game wholesale and claiming it as yours isn't.

If we catch you plagiarizing, you'll be removed from the program immediately with no refund.

Intellectual Property

You own the games and projects you create during our programs. We don't claim any rights to your work.

Our course materials, videos, and curriculum belong to us. You can use them for personal learning but can't redistribute or resell them.

Portfolio Usage

We might ask to feature your projects in marketing materials or as examples for future students. We'll always ask permission first, and you can decline without any penalty.

Mentor Relationships

Mentors are independent contractors, not employees. They're professionals sharing their expertise, but they're not providing legal advice, career counseling, or anything beyond game design education.

If you have an issue with your assigned mentor, contact us and we'll either resolve it or assign you someone different.

Limitation of Liability

We're not liable for indirect damages or lost opportunities. If something goes wrong with our service, our liability is limited to refunding what you paid.

This doesn't affect your statutory rights under consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

Service Availability

We aim for 99% uptime on our website and student portal, but technology breaks sometimes. We're not responsible if you miss a deadline because our servers went down, though we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Privacy and Data

How we handle your personal information is covered in our privacy policy. The short version: we protect your data and don't sell it to anyone.

Program Changes

We might update curriculum or change how programs are structured based on industry developments or student feedback. Major changes to ongoing programs will be communicated in advance.

If we make changes that significantly reduce what you paid for, you can request a partial refund for the affected portion.

Program Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel programs if enrollment is too low or circumstances prevent us from delivering quality education. You'll get full refunds in these situations.

Termination

You can cancel your enrollment anytime subject to the refund policy. We can terminate your access if you violate these terms, though we'll usually warn you first unless it's something egregious.

Dispute Resolution

If we have a disagreement, let's try to work it out directly first. Email us at gamediz@playfusex.com and we'll figure something out.

If that doesn't work, disputes are governed by Spanish law since that's where we're based. Any legal proceedings would happen in Madrid courts.

EU Alternative Dispute Resolution

EU consumers can use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform if needed. We'll participate in good faith if you initiate something there.

Changes to Terms

We update these terms occasionally. When we do, we'll post the new version here and email current students if the changes are significant.

Continuing to use our services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
